Wellington Brick Show 2023

Held for the first time at the Walter Nash Centre in Lower Hutt, It was a massive weekend with heaps of amazing displays to see and activities to do including a cusomt designed Lord of the Rings mosaic which was slowly built be the public over the two show days.

AFOL Day/Dinner

 the AFOL day attracted a huge range of LEGO enthusiasts from all around New Zealand (and Australia) who came together to participate in a range of activities, competitions, presentations and workshops where we also give away a WHOLE LOT of LEGO.

Introducing the LUG Olympics

This year, Well-LUG introduced the LUG Olympics which was open to all attending the AFOL day. Each Event at the LUG Olympics had a competition and a casual version so everyone could participate and help find our champions league held over the two public days.

Four LEGO Clubs from around New Zealand went head to head, competing in a range of LEGO-related events to find which LUG receives the honour of being immortalised onto the Olympics trophy, a $1,000 donation to their chosen charity and of course … bragging rights.

This year the winning LUG was WELL-LUG!!!

Also a huge thank you to Auck-LUG, LUG 4x2 and LUG South for making the event so much fun.
